Why your wood oil yellows, and why Vinnie’s Oil doesn’t?

Why your wood oil yellows, and why Vinnie’s Oil doesn’t.

Have you ever treated a beautiful wood surface with tung oil for wood or linseed oil? If so, you've probably noticed that linseed oil yellows over time, ruining the bright, natural look of wood species like ash or maple. And that tungoil does not gellow the wood. But it takes several weeks to dry. I's a common problem, but we have found a solution to both, in one product.

At Vinnie's Oil, we've developed a unique blend of oils that provides superior protection without compromising the wood's natural color, or takes forever to dry.. We've taken the best of nature and combined it into a product that truly works in all aspects.

Wood treatment that dosnt gellow the wood. Vinnie's Oil
Vinnie's Oil gives full protection while keeping its natural appearence, withoutgellowing the wood with time.

Quality Matters – That's Why Our Linseed Oil Is Different

One of our base is hemp seed oil for wood, an oil known for its stability and extremely low tendency to yellow. It has small molecules that penetrates better and hardens but with a more flexible and gooey consistence on its own. But to provide the right durability, we also use just the right amount of tung oil for wood and linseed oil in our products among with small prtions of other oils that works together to create the perfect synergy.

When it comes to linseed oil. Its where quality becomes crucial. We use a premium, high-quality linseed oil that undergoes a special refining process. This process reduces the compounds responsible for yellowing. Unlike a standard linseed oil, which can give a yellow tint, our high-quality oil allows the wood's true color to shine through. Its also boiled in a traditional way that dosnt need cobolt or manganese to dry. Yes, in almost all linseed oil you buy from larger brands you will have a small portion of Cobolt and manganese, this is to be able to produce it at high scale and less expensive. Vinnie's Oil use real traditional boiled linseed oil.

Tung Oil and the Perfect Symbiosis

We also use a smaller amount tung oil in our product, which is incredibly good at curing. However, the biggest con with tung oil is its slow drying time. Our solution? The unique blend of hemp seed oil, our premium linseed oil, and other ingredients in our formula acts as a natural catalyst for the tung oil. They "lift" it, causing it to cure much faster than it would on its own.

The result is a powerful and long-lasting protection that dries in a reasonable amount of time and does not yellow. You get the best of all worlds: the robust protection from tung oil, the color-stable hemp seed oil, and the high-quality linseed oil. It's a truly non-toxic alternative that doesn't compromise on either performance or aesthetics. And gives you the best properties of all this 3 superoils together with the blend of waxes that lays on top of the wood and fill the pores where it hardens together.

Our slogan "strongest toxic free treatment for wood", does not set the bar low, and we are not satisfied with anything less! We have today thousands of customers that can confirm this, and encurage you to become part of our family, and experience the difference with Vinnie's Oil.
